The Lurmin apple is our flagship product. Everything we produce is quickly snapped up. It belongs to the variety Elstar, and thanks to the humid climate of the Basque Country and the fact that our land is rich in organic matter, what we produce is of the highest quality.
It is a mountain apple. In steep terrain the apple trees have to work harder so that their roots can extract the minerals and other essential nutrients from the earth. As a result, they give less fruit, but of higher quality, tastier and fuller flavoured.
That’s why so many people love the Lurmin apples, because of their lively and acidic flavour.
